Night Rating

If you have a PPL, you can add a night rating, which will need needed if you’re wanting to become a Commercial Pilot. This rating allows you to fly in Visual Flying Rules (VFR) conditions at night.

What are the minimum requirements for a Night Rating?

Minimum of 5 hours night training:

  • 3 hours dual night training.
  • 1 hour dual night navigation with at least one dual cross-country flight of at least 50km.
  • 5 solo take-offs and full stop landings at night.

How much will it cost?

Between £600 – £1000.
